He is an Indian spiritual leader. He is frequently referred to as “Sri Sri” or as Guruji or Gurudev. He found the Art of Living Foundation in 1981, a volunteer-based NGO providing social support to the people. In 1997, he established a Geneva-based charity, the International Association for Human Values, an NGO that engages in relief work and rural development and aims to foster shared global values.
The first time I experienced the vibe of him, was in 2008, when my father covered the whole event for which He was here in Surat. And then, he directly came in 2018, after 10 years straight, and I believe nobody could have been more excited than me to do His photography, and especially to meet Him.
I had no plans on my mind, no preparations done, and there was nobody who had hired me for the task of doing photography of a person like Him, who is one of my idols, but it was like a miracle I would say, when I attended the function and was directly called upon the stage by my mentor, to cover the event. It was one of those moments of glory for me when I stepped upon the stage which He was sharing.
After that function, I was clicking his pictures for 3 days in a row. I also got the chance to meet him personally along with all my family members on all 3 days. This was all like a dream come true for us. All of us felt so blessed that I would only want to pass a message that always be positive in your life and never lose that charm of positivity from within. Your positive approach towards anything or anyone will always bring good things for you in your life.
Whatever we think or desire, some or the other day, it becomes the reality. Wo kehte hai na, Bhagwaan ke ghar me der hai, andher nahi.. And for Guruji, the last thing I would say is that he has such power and belief in him, that sooner or later he fulfills all the wishes of His devotees.
